Vision Sensor

Vision sensors are standalone, high-performance systems used to inspect products and components in a wide range of industries. The compact cameras include a powerful image sensor, processor, lighting controls, lens, input/output and Ethernet connectivity. Vision sensors are ideal for mounting on robots, machinery or production lines, where space is limited.

 

With a vision sensor, inspections can be performed solely by the camera without the need for an external PC, and the pass or fail results are transmitted automatically. Once a vision sensor has been programmed and a defect is detected, the camera can stop the machine or activate the reject mechanism, without the need for operator intervention.
