It's use ensures that maintenance is carried out at the appropriate time considering the usage of a particular plant item, rather than using fixed schedules.

The day to day operation of mechanical plant items is monitored automatically through the main control system interface. The operating times and details of malfunctions are continuously collated and compared to pre-set parameters. At the appropriate times these generate job sheets to trigger maintenance and provides full plant maintenance records.

The software can be used to monitor other equipment via manual (keyboard) input of data, enabling it to form the basis of a comprehensive, plant wide preventative maintenance system.
